This is the first version of WorldClock for (fake) windows.
To start the program, make the default directory the one with the
WCMAPS.DAT file (presumably on the CD) and execute
WCWIN CPATH=C:\CNNVIEW MAP21000
where the CPATH statement specifies the directory on the hard disk where
the GECONFIG.DAT file is. The MAP# specifies which map is to be displayed
first.
WCWIN CPATH=C:\CNNVIEW LOCAL
writes a text file to the directory named TIMEZONE.DAT which contains
three numbers on three lines. Theses are the offsets, in minutes, from
the local time zone to Washington, London, and Tokyo.
The GECONFIG.DAT file needs to have three lines not required by Global View for
DOS:
